importance. We assure all users of this web site that we will not

site about you, outside of our company and tech support staff,
without your permission, through communication, or events. This

Lists
We do not and will not, under ANY
circumstance, sell, share, or distribute any of your personal
information. Your trust and confidence in our product line and
the way we conduct our business are much more important to Kathy
and I than what you might expect. We will do whatever it takes to
earn and maintain your trust as well as your confidentiality.

When ordering merchandise through
the 'shopping cart' we provide a secure ordering page in our

Payment
We accept MasterCard, VISA, Discovercard, and American
Express.
Please be aware that your credit card
is not automatically charged when you place your order. We
do this manually when your order is pulled, packed and weighed.
We now accept Pay Pal but the process is not automatic.
Here is how it works: You make an order on Monday
evening and want to use PayPal. Tuesday or Wednesday we
'pull' the order, box and weigh it to determine shipping costs
(based on your instructions). We then send you an email with the
total cost and our Pay Pay address. Depending on
your schedule you respond with your PayPal payment on
Thursday and we ship your order Thursday or Friday.
If you are paying by Money Order or Cashiers Check: Do not
send payment until you have received a separate Email from
us indicating your total charge (merchandise plus shipping
charge). Your order will not be shipped until your payment
is received.
We do not accept personal check for payment. If you
send us a personal check we will write VOID across the face
of the check and return it to you.
Return Policy
Our return policy is very simple: provided the merchandise
is returned in the original condition as when shipped and within
5 days of receiving your order, we will refund the full
purchase price of the merchandise or exchange the merchandise in
question once it is returned to us.
If you received free shipping with your order shipping charges
will be deducted from your refund. Shipping charges
are not refundable nor can we accept returns on custom orders.
All returns must be shipped pre-paid unless prior arrangements
are made with us. We do recommend that you package the
items securely, insure your package and send it via a
trackable carrier such as DHL,
FedEx, Express Mail and/or UPS. We are not responsible
for lost or damaged shipments being returned to us.

Product Information
Please keep in mind that Mother Nature is
responsible for the manufacture of any of the wood or stone
products that we sell. We cannot re-engineer the wood or stone
for you. We will not sell you anything that has an obvious
defect. Some wood may have bark inclusions that cannot be seen on
the surface of the wood and are only discovered once the wood is
'turned'. Ambrosia maple, for example, normally contains bore
holes caused by beetles. These are examples of natural occurring
conditions and, for that reason, we cannot guarantee that each and
every piece will be totally solid and clear. Each piece is hand
picked and examined for defects prior to shipping and we will not
ship you anything that cannot be successfully used for it's
intended purpose.
Also be aware that some blanks bend during the stabilization
process. We will not send you a blank (or blanks) that cannot be
successfully completed in a normal manner.
Some types of wood are very fragile and
breakage can occur in shipping. 'Crosscut' pen blanks and heavily
spalted woods are good examples. We take extraordinary measures
to ensure that your order arrives in good condition. We are not
responsible for any breakage that may occur in shipping nor
through handling once the box is received and opened by you. Do
not try to bend crosscut wood to see how strong it is!
Shipping Policy
All orders will be shipped within 48 hours of
receiving your order. 98% of our order's are shipped the
next business day using Priority Mail or United Parcel Service (UPS).
We will notify you when your order is shipped using the
automated announcement features provided by the USPS and/or UPS.
In the event of a delay longer than 48 hours you will be contacted
and other arrangements can be made at that time.
We do not ship orders by USPS parcel
post nor do we use FedEx or DHL as delivery
options.
Backorders
Effective August 18, 2006:
We do our best to keep all items in stock but this is not always
possible. Please be aware that we do our best to restock sold
items but due to the nature of our products, especially the wood blanks,
this is not always possible. We have no control over our suppliers
inventories. If for some reason we are temporarily out of any item(s)
that we normally stock we
will hold your order and ship it the day we receive the item(s) that we
are waiting on. We will ONLY do this when we expect the items to
arrive within five (5) days or less. If you do not want any delays with your order,
even for a few days, please note this at the time you place your order
in the COMMENTS section of the order form ("No back-orders"). The
customer is responsible for the shipping charges on any back-ordered
items. We do not backorder wood pen blanks or wood
blocks.
Orders shipped outside of
the United States
Effective December 1, 2005 we will no
longer be accepting nor shipping to countries outside of the United States. We
apologize for any inconvenience this decision may cause. Shipments
to APO and FPO addresses will continue to be made.
There is a
$7.95 handling fee for orders shipped outside of the United
States (APO and FPO addresses) IF the order weighs more
than 16 ounces. This handling fee covers
the cost of the additional time needed to count, weigh, and list
every specific item that is contained in each order, filling out
the necessary customs declaration forms and for us to hand
deliver these packages to our main Post Office for mailing.
We regret this additional handling fee but the time it takes us
to prepare, package and take your order to the Post Office has
made it necessary for us to add this charge.
Product Substitution
If a particular wood is out of stock we will
notify you of that fact when your order is placed or I will
substitute a similar species that is close to the color, spalt,
etc. If you would rather not receive a substitution please notify
us at the time of your order.
Site Images
We go to great lengths to illustrate
our products as accurately as possible. However, please be
aware that the software that you use and/or the monitor you have
may not accurately display the image colors. Wood is not
something that we can manufacture and Mother Nature does have a
way of changing the 'norm'. We make every attempt to
provide you with the best wood that we have available.
All images contained in this website are copywrited and are the sole
property of Arizona Silhouette, Arizona Silhouettes, Berea Hardwoods and, where indicated, by the
individual owner. These images are not
to be sold, transferred, copied or used by any other party and are
only available with permission from Arizona Silhouette.com,
